أَدْعِيَةٌ لِلْمُتَوَفَّى (ذُكُورٌ)

اللَّهُمَّ أَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ، وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ، وَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ.

اللَّهُمَّ عَامِلْهُ بِمَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ، وَلَا تُعَامِلْهُ بِمَا هُوَ أَهْلُهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْزِهِ عَنِ الْإِحْسَانِ إِحْسَانًا وَعَنِ الْإِسَاءَةِ عَفْوًا وَغُفْرَانًا.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كَانَ مُحْسِنًا فَزِدْ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مُسِيئًا فَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ مُنَاقَشَةِ حِسَابٍ وَلَا سَابِقَةِ عَذَابٍ.

اللَّهُمَّ آنِسْهُ فِي وَحْدَتِهِ وَفِي وَحْشَتِهِ وَفِي غُرْبَتِهِ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْهُ مُنْزَلًا مُبَارَكًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنْزِلِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْهُ مَنَازِلَ الصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ، وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقًا.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ قَبْرَهُ رَوْضَةً مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهُ حُفْرَةً مِنْ حُفَرِ النَّارِ.

اللَّهُمَّ افْسَحْ لَهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ مَدَّ بَصَرِهِ، وَافْرُشْ قَبْرَهُ مِنْ فِرَاشِ الْجَنَّةِ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَجَفَافِ الْأَرْضِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ.

اللَّهُمَّ امْلَأْ قَبْرَهُ بِالرِّضَا وَالنُّورِ وَالْفُسْحَةِ وَالسُّرُورِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ فِي ذِمَّتِكَ وَحَبْلِ جِوَارِكَ، فَقِهِ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ، وَعَذَابَ النَّارِ، وَأَنْتَ أَهْلُ الْوَفَاءِ وَالْحَقِّ، فَاغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَسَعَتِهَا وَمَحْبُوبِهَا وَأَحِبَّائِهِ فِيهَا إِلَى ظُلْمَةِ الْقَبْرِ وَمَا هُوَ لَاقِيهِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ كَانَ يَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ وَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَتَوَسَّلُ بِكَ إِلَيْكَ، وَنُقْسِمُ بِكَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ تَرْحَمَهُ وَلَا تُعَذِّبَهُ، وَأَنْ تُثَبِّتَهُ عِنْدَ السُّؤَالِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ نَزَلَ بِكَ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْزُولٍ بِهِ، وَأَصْبَحَ فَقِيرًا إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِهِ.

اللَّهُمَّ آتِهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَرِضَاكَ، وَقِهِ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابَهُ، وَآتِهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الْأَمْنَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ حَتَّى تَبْعَثَهُ إِلَى جَنَّتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ انْقُلْهُ مِنْ مَوَاطِنِ الدُّودِ وَضِيقِ اللُّحُودِ إِلَى جَنَّاتِ الْخُلُودِ.

اللَّهُمَّ احْمِهِ تَحْتَ الْأَرْضِ، وَاسْتُرْهُ يَوْمَ الْعَرْضِ، وَلَا تُخْزِهِ يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ "يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ".

اللَّهُمَّ يَمِّنْ كِتَابَهُ، وَيَسِّرْ حِسَابَهُ، وَثَقِّلْ بِالْحَسَنَاتِ مِيزَانَهُ، وَثَبِّتْ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ أَقْدَامَهُ، وَأَسْكِنْهُ فِي أَعْلَى الْجَنَّاتِ بِجِوَارِ حَبِيبِكَ وَمُصْطَفَاكَ (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ).

اللَّهُمَّ أَمِّنْهُ مِنْ فَزَعِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمِنْ هَوْلِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَاجْعَلْ نَفْسَهُ آمِنَةً مُطْمَئِنَّةً، وَلَقِّنْهُ حُجَّتَهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ فِي بَطْنِ الْقَبْرِ مُطْمَئِنًّا وَعِنْدَ قِيَامِ الْأَشْهَادِ آمِنًا، وَبِجُودِ رِضْوَانِكَ وَاثِقًا، وَإِلَى أَعْلَى دَرَجَاتِكَ سَابِقًا.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ نُورًا حَتَّى تَبْعَثَهُ آمِنًا مُطْمَئِنًّا فِي نُورٍ مِنْ نُورِكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ انْظُرْ إِلَيْهِ نَظْرَةَ رِضًا، فَإِنَّ مَنْ تَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ نَظْرَةَ رِضًا لَا تُعَذِّبُهُ أَبَدًا.

اللَّهُمَّ أَسْكِنْهُ فَسِيحَ الْجِنَانِ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُ يَا رَحْمَنُ، وَارْحَمْهُ يَا رَحِيمُ، وَتَجَاوَزْ عَمَّا تَعْلَمُ يَا عَلِيمُ.

اللَّهُمَّ اعْفُ عَنْهُ فَإِنَّكَ الْقَائِلُ "وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ".

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ جَاءَ بِبَابِكَ، وَأَنَاخَ بِجَنَابِكَ، فَجُدْ عَلَيْهِ بِعَفْوِكَ وَإِكْرَامِكَ وَجُودِ إِحْسَانِكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَارْحَمْهُ رَحْمَةً تَطْمَئِنُّ بِهَا نَفْسُهُ، وَتَقَرُّ بِهَا عَيْنُهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ احْشُرْهُ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ وَفْدًا.

اللَّهُمَّ احْشُرْهُ مَعَ أَصْحَابِ الْيَمِينِ، وَاجْعَلْ تَحِيَّتَهُ سَلَامٌ لَكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْيَمِينِ.

اللَّهُمَّ بَشِّرْهُ بِقَوْلِكَ "كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الْخَالِيَةِ".

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ سُعِدُوا فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا نُزَكِّيهِ عَلَيْكَ، وَلَكِنَّا نَحْسَبُهُ أَنَّهُ آمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا، فَاجْعَلْ لَهُ جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَيْ أَفْنَانٍ بِحَقِّ قَوْلِكَ: "وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ".

اللَّهُمَّ شَفِّعْ فِيهِ نَبِيَّنَا وَمُصْطَفَاكَ، وَاحْشُرْهُ تَحْتَ لِوَائِهِ، وَاسْقِهِ مِنْ يَدِهِ الشَّرِيفَةِ شَرْبَةً هَنِيئَةً لَا يَظْمَأُ بَعْدَهَا أَبَدًا.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ فِي جَنَّةِ الْخُلْدِ "الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَاءً وَمَصِيرًا. لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاءُونَ خَالِدِينَ كَانَ عَلَى رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَسْؤُولًا".

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ صَبَرَ عَلَى الْبَلَاءِ فَلَمْ يَجْزَعْ، فَامْنَحْهُ دَرَجَةَ الصَّابِرِينَ الَّذِينَ يُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ فَإِنَّكَ الْقَائِلُ "إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ".

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مُصَلِّيًا لَكَ، فَثَبِّتْهُ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ يَوْمَ تَزِلُّ الْأَقْدَامُ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صَائِمًا لَكَ، فَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ بَابِ الرَّيَّانِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ كَانَ لِكِتَابِكَ تَالِيًا وَسَامِعًا، فَشَفِّعْ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنَ، وَارْحَمْهُ مِنَ النِّيرَانِ، وَاجْعَلْهُ يَا رَحْمَنُ يَرْتَقِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ إِلَى آخِرِ آيَةٍ قَرَأَهَا أَوْ سَمِعَهَا، وَآخِرِ حَرْفٍ تَلَاهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْهُ بِكُلِّ حَرْفٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ حَلَاوَةً، وَبِكُلِّ كَلِمَةٍ كَرَامَةً، وَبِكُلِّ آيَةٍ سَعَادَةً، وَبِكُلِّ سُورَةٍ سَلَامَةً، وَبِكُلِّ جُزْءٍ جَزَاءً.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ مُسْلِمًا، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا، وَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ بِنَبِيِّكَ مُصَدِّقًا، وَسَامِحْهُ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ لِكِتَابِكَ مُرَتِّلًا.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا، وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا، وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا، وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا.

اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا أَجْرَهُ وَلَا تُضْلِلْنَا بَعْدَهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا أَتَانَا الْيَقِينُ، وَعَرِقَ مِنَّا الْجَبِينُ، وَكَثُرَ الْأَنِينُ وَالْحَنِينُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا يَئِسَ مِنَّا الطَّبِيبُ، وَبَكَى عَلَيْنَا الْحَبِيبُ، وَتَخَلَّى عَنَّا الْقَرِيبُ وَالْغَرِيبُ، وَارْتَفَعَ النَّشِيجُ وَالنَّحِيبُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا اشْتَدَّتِ الْكُرُبَاتُ، وَتَوَالَتِ الْحَسَرَاتُ، وَأَطْبَقَتِ الرَّوْعَاتُ، وَفَاضَتِ الْعَبَرَاتُ، وَتَكَشَّفَتِ الْعَوْرَاتُ، وَتَعَطَّلَتِ الْقُوَى وَالْقُدُرَاتُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا حُمِلْنَا عَلَى الْأَعْنَاقِ، وَبَلَغَتِ التَّرَاقِيَ، وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ، إِلَيْكَ يَا رَبَّنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمَسَاقُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا وُورِينَا التُّرَابَ، وَغُلِّقَتِ الْقُبُورُ وَالْأَبْوَابُ، وَانْفَضَّ الْأَهْلُ وَالْأَحْبَابُ، فَإِذَا الْوَحْشَةُ وَالْوَحْدَةُ وَهَوْلُ الْحِسَابِ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا فَارَقْنَا النَّعِيمَ، وَانْقَطَعَ النَّسِيمُ، وَقِيلَ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا أُقِمْنَا لِلسُّؤَالِ، وَخَانَنَا الْمَقَالُ، وَلَمْ يَنْفَعْ جَاهٌ وَلَا مَالٌ وَلَا عِيَالٌ، وَقَدْ حَالَ الْحَالُ، وَلَيْسَ إِلَّا فَضْلُ الْكَبِيرِ الْمُتَعَالِ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا نُسِيَ اسْمُنَا، وَدَرَسَ رَسْمُنَا، وَأَحَاطَ بِنَا قِسْمُنَا وَوُسْعُنَا.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا أُهْمِلْنَا فَلَمْ يَزُرْنَا زَائِرٌ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْنَا ذَاكِرٌ، وَمَا لَنَا مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ، فَلَا أَمَلَ إِلَّا فِي الْقَاهِرِ الْقَادِرِ الْغَافِرِ، يَا مَنْ إِذَا وَعَدَ أَوْفَى، وَإِذَا تَوَعَّدَ عَفَا، وَشَفِّعْ يَا رَبِّ فِينَا حَبِيبَنَا الْمُصْطَفَى، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ صَفَا وَوَفَى، وَبِاللَّهِ اكْتَفَى، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ، يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، يَا بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَشْهَدُ لَكَ بِالْوَحْدَانِيَّةِ وَلِرَسُولِكَ بِالشَّهَادَةِ فَاغْفِرْ لَهُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفَّارُ.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا أَجْرَهُ، وَلَا تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَهُ، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَهُ، وَاجْمَعْنَا مَعَهُ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ الصَّبْرَ وَالسُّلْوَانَ وَأَرْضِهِمْ بِقَضَائِكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا، وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ، وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ.

Supplications for a deceased man

O Allah, replace his home with a better home and his family with a better family. Admit him to Paradise and protect him from punishment of the grave and punishment of the Fire.

O Allah, treat him according to what befits You, not what he deserves.

O Allah, reward his good with goodness, and his wrongdoing with pardon and forgiveness.

O Allah, if he did good, increase his good deeds; if he did wrong, pardon his misdeeds.

O Allah, admit him to Paradise without a scrutinizing reckoning or preceding punishment.

O Allah, comfort him in his solitude, loneliness, and estrangement.

O Allah, settle him in a blessed dwelling; You are the best to grant a dwelling.

O Allah, settle him among the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous—what excellent companions they are.

O Allah, make his grave a garden of Paradise, not a pit of the Fire.

O Allah, expand his grave as far as his sight reaches and furnish it with the furnishings of Paradise.

O Allah, protect him from punishment of the grave and from the earth pressing dry against his sides.

O Allah, fill his grave with pleasure, light, spaciousness, and joy.

O Allah, he is under Your covenant and protection. Protect him from the trial of the grave and punishment of the Fire. You are faithful and true, so forgive him and have mercy on him. You are the Forgiving, the Merciful.

O Allah, he is Your servant, the son of Your servant, who left this world, its spaciousness, what he loved, and his loved ones within it, for the darkness of the grave and what he will encounter.

O Allah, he testified that there is no deity except You and that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger, and You know him best.

O Allah, we seek nearness to You through You and beseech You by Yourself to have mercy on him, not punish him, and make him steadfast when questioned.

O Allah, he has come to You, the best of hosts, in need of Your mercy, while You have no need to punish him.

O Allah, grant him Your mercy and pleasure. Protect him from the trial and punishment of the grave, and grant him safety from Your punishment by Your mercy until You raise him to Your Paradise, Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, move him from the dwelling of worms and narrow graves to the gardens of eternity.

O Allah, protect him beneath the earth, conceal his faults on the Day of Presentation, and do not disgrace him when they are raised: ‘The day neither wealth nor children benefit, except one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.’

O Allah, place his record in his right hand, ease his reckoning, make his scale heavy with good deeds, keep his feet firm on the bridge, and settle him in the highest gardens beside Your beloved and chosen Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

O Allah, secure him from the terror and horror of the Day of Resurrection. Make his soul safe and tranquil, and teach him his plea.

O Allah, make him tranquil within the grave, safe when the witnesses rise, confident in the generosity of Your pleasure, and foremost toward Your highest ranks.

O Allah, place light on his right until You raise him safe and tranquil in light from You.

O Allah, look upon him with pleasure, for whoever receives Your look of pleasure You never punish.

O Allah, settle him in spacious gardens, forgive him, Most Compassionate; have mercy on him, Most Merciful; and pardon what You know, All-Knowing One.

O Allah, pardon him, for You said: ‘He pardons much.’

O Allah, he has come to Your door and settled at Your threshold. Be generous to him with Your pardon, honor, and abundant kindness.

O Allah, Your mercy encompasses everything. Have mercy on him with a mercy that calms his soul and comforts his eyes.

O Allah, gather him with the mindful as honored guests before the Most Compassionate.

O Allah, gather him with the people of the right, and let his greeting be: ‘Peace to you from the people of the right.’

O Allah, give him good news through Your words: ‘Eat and drink pleasantly for what you sent ahead in days gone by.’

O Allah, make him among the happy in Paradise, abiding there as long as the heavens and earth endure.

O Allah, we do not declare him pure before You, but we consider him one who believed and did righteous deeds. Grant him two gardens with spreading branches, in accordance with Your words: ‘For whoever fears standing before his Lord are two gardens.’

O Allah, accept the intercession of our Prophet and Your chosen one for him, gather him beneath his banner, and give him a pleasant drink from the noble hand of the Prophet, after which he will never thirst.

O Allah, place him in the eternal Garden, ‘promised to the mindful as their reward and destination. They will have whatever they wish there, abiding forever—a promise from your Lord to be requested.’

O Allah, he was patient in affliction and did not despair. Grant him the rank of the patient, whose reward is given without measure, for You said: ‘The patient will receive their reward without measure.’

O Allah, he prayed to You; keep him firm on the bridge when feet slip.

O Allah, he fasted for You; admit him to Paradise through the gate of Ar-Rayyan.

O Allah, he recited and listened to Your Book. Let the Quran intercede for him, have mercy on him from the Fire, and let him, Most Compassionate, rise in Paradise to the last verse he recited or heard and the last letter he recited.

O Allah, grant him sweetness for every Quranic letter, honor for every word, happiness for every verse, safety for every surah, and reward for every part.

O Allah, have mercy on him, for he was a Muslim; forgive him, for he was a believer; admit him to Paradise, for he affirmed Your Prophet; and pardon him, for he recited Your Book in measured tones.

O Allah, forgive our living and dead, those present and absent, our young and old, and our men and women.

O Allah, whoever You keep alive among us, keep alive upon Islam; whoever You cause to die among us, cause to die upon faith.

O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward or let us go astray after him.

O Allah, have mercy on us when certainty of death comes, our foreheads sweat, and groans and longing grow intense.

O Allah, have mercy on us when the physician loses hope, loved ones weep over us, relatives and strangers leave us, and sobbing and wailing rise.

O Allah, have mercy on us when distress intensifies, regrets follow one another, fears close in, tears flow, vulnerabilities are exposed, and strength and abilities fail.

O Allah, have mercy on us when carried on shoulders, when the soul reaches the collarbones and it is said: ‘Who can heal?’ When one knows it is parting and leg is joined with leg, to You, our Lord, is the driving that day.

O Allah, have mercy on us when buried in earth, graves and doors closed, family and loved ones dispersed, leaving loneliness, solitude, and the dread of reckoning.

O Allah, have mercy on us when we leave comfort, the breeze ceases, and it is said: ‘What deceived you concerning your Generous Lord?’

O Allah, have mercy on us when raised for questioning, speech fails us, status, wealth, and children are useless, our condition has changed, and nothing remains but the grace of the Great, the Exalted.

O Allah, have mercy on us when our names are forgotten, our traces erased, and our allotted portion surrounds and contains us.

O Allah, have mercy on us when neglected, with no visitor or one to remember us, with no strength or helper and no hope except in the All-Prevailing, the All-Powerful, the Forgiving. You fulfill Your promises and pardon after warning. Our Lord, grant our beloved chosen Prophet intercession for us. Make us among those who are pure, faithful, and content with Allah alone, Most Merciful of the merciful; Ever-Living, Sustainer of all; Originator of the heavens and earth; Possessor of majesty and honor.

O Allah, he is Your servant, the son of Your male servant and Your female servant, who died testifying to Your oneness and to Your Messenger. Forgive him; You are the Oft-Forgiving.

O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward or try us after him. Forgive us and him, and gather us with him in the gardens of bliss, Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, send patience and consolation upon his family and make them content with Your decree.

O Allah, keep us firm with the firm word in worldly life, the Hereafter, and the day the witnesses rise.

O Allah, send peace and blessings upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions until the Day of Judgment.

أَدْعِيَةٌ لِلْمُتَوَفَّاةِ (إِنَاثٌ)

اللَّهُمَّ أَبْدِلْهَا دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهَا، وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهَا، وَأَدْخِلْهَا الْجَنَّةَ، وَأَعِذْهَا مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ.

اللَّهُمَّ عَامِلْهَا بِمَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ، وَلَا تُعَامِلْهَا بِمَا هِيَ أَهْلُهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْزِهَا عَنِ الْإِحْسَانِ إِحْسَانًا وَعَنِ الْإِسَاءَةِ عَفْوًا وَغُفْرَانًا.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كَانَتْ مُحْسِنَةً فَزِدْ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهَا، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مُسِيئَةً فَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِهَا.

اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهَا الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ مُنَاقَشَةِ حِسَابٍ وَلَا سَابِقَةِ عَذَابٍ.

اللَّهُمَّ آنِسْهَا فِي وَحْدَتِهَا وَفِي وَحْشَتِهَا وَفِي غُرْبَتِهَا.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْهَا مُنْزَلًا مُبَارَكًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنْزِلِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْهَا مَنَازِلَ الصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ، وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقًا.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ قَبْرَهَا رَوْضَةً مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهُ حُفْرَةً مِنْ حُفَرِ النَّارِ.

اللَّهُمَّ افْسَحْ لَهَا فِي قَبْرِهَا مَدَّ بَصَرِهَا، وَافْرُشْ قَبْرَهَا مِنْ فِرَاشِ الْجَنَّةِ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِذْهَا مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَجَفَافِ الْأَرْضِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهَا.

اللَّهُمَّ امْلَأْ قَبْرَهَا بِالرِّضَا وَالنُّورِ وَالْفُسْحَةِ وَالسُّرُورِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا فِي ذِمَّتِكَ وَحَبْلِ جِوَارِكَ، فَقِهَا فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ، وَعَذَابَ النَّارِ، وَأَنْتَ أَهْلُ الْوَفَاءِ وَالْحَقِّ، فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا وَارْحَمْهَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا أَمَتُكَ وَبِنْتُ أَمَتِكَ خَرَجَتْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَسَعَتِهَا وَمَحْبُوبِيهَا وَأَحِبَّائِهَا فِيهَا إِلَى ظُلْمَةِ الْقَبْرِ وَمَا هِيَ لَاقِيَتُهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ وَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهَا.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَتَوَسَّلُ بِكَ إِلَيْكَ، وَنُقْسِمُ بِكَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ تَرْحَمَهَا وَلَا تُعَذِّبَهَا، وَأَنْ تُثَبِّتَهَا عِنْدَ السُّؤَالِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا نَزَلَتْ بِكَ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْزُولٍ بِهِ، وَأَصْبَحَتْ فَقِيرَةً إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِهَا.

اللَّهُمَّ آتِهَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَرِضَاكَ، وَقِهَا فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابَهُ، وَآتِهَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ الْأَمْنَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ حَتَّى تَبْعَثَهَا إِلَى جَنَّتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ انْقُلْهَا مِنْ مَوَاطِنِ الدُّودِ وَضِيقِ اللُّحُودِ إِلَى جَنَّاتِ الْخُلُودِ.

اللَّهُمَّ احْمِهَا تَحْتَ الْأَرْضِ، وَاسْتُرْهَا يَوْمَ الْعَرْضِ، وَلَا تُخْزِهَا يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ “يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ”.

اللَّهُمَّ يَمِّنْ كِتَابَهَا، وَيَسِّرْ حِسَابَهَا، وَثَقِّلْ بِالْحَسَنَاتِ مِيزَانَهَا، وَثَبِّتْ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ أَقْدَامَهَا، وَأَسْكِنْهَا فِي أَعْلَى الْجَنَّاتِ بِجِوَارِ حَبِيبِكَ وَمُصْطَفَاكَ (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ).

اللَّهُمَّ أَمِّنْهَا مِنْ فَزَعِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمِنْ هَوْلِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَاجْعَلْ نَفْسَهَا آمِنَةً مُطْمَئِنَّةً، وَلَقِّنْهَا حُجَّتَهَا.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا فِي بَطْنِ الْقَبْرِ مُطْمَئِنَّةً وَعِنْدَ قِيَامِ الْأَشْهَادِ آمِنَةً، وَبِجُودِ رِضْوَانِكَ وَاثِقَةً، وَإِلَى أَعْلَى دَرَجَاتِكَ سَابِقَةً.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ عَنْ يَمِينِهَا نُورًا حَتَّى تَبْعَثَهَا آمِنَةً مُطْمَئِنَّةً فِي نُورٍ مِنْ نُورِكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ انْظُرْ إِلَيْهَا نَظْرَةَ رِضًا، فَإِنَّ مَنْ تَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ نَظْرَةَ رِضًا لَا تُعَذِّبُهُ أَبَدًا.

اللَّهُمَّ أَسْكِنْهَا فَسِيحَ الْجِنَانِ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهَا يَا رَحْمَنُ، وَارْحَمْهَا يَا رَحِيمُ، وَتَجَاوَزْ عَمَّا تَعْلَمُ يَا عَلِيمُ.

اللَّهُمَّ اعْفُ عَنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ الْقَائِلُ “وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ”.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا جَاءَتْ بِبَابِكَ، وَأَنَاخَتْ بِجَنَابِكَ، فَجُدْ عَلَيْهَا بِعَفْوِكَ وَإِكْرَامِكَ وَجُودِ إِحْسَانِكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَارْحَمْهَا رَحْمَةً تَطْمَئِنُّ بِهَا نَفْسُهَا، وَتَقَرُّ بِهَا عَيْنُهَا.

اللَّهُمَّ احْشُرْهَا مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ وَفْدًا.

اللَّهُمَّ احْشُرْهَا مَعَ أَصْحَابِ الْيَمِينِ، وَاجْعَلْ تَحِيَّتَهَا سَلَامٌ لَكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْيَمِينِ.

اللَّهُمَّ بَشِّرْهَا بِقَوْلِكَ “كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الْخَالِيَةِ”

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ سُعِدُوا فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا نُزَكِّيهَا عَلَيْكَ، وَلَكِنَّا نَحْسَبُهَا أَنَّهَا آمَنَتْ وَعَمِلَتْ صَالِحًا، فَاجْعَلْ لَهَا جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَيْ أَفْنَانٍ بِحَقِّ قَوْلِكَ: “وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ”.

اللَّهُمَّ شَفِّعْ فِيهَا نَبِيَّنَا وَمُصْطَفَاكَ، وَاحْشُرْهَا تَحْتَ لِوَائِهِ، وَاسْقِهَا مِنْ يَدِهِ الشَّرِيفَةِ شَرْبَةً هَنِيئَةً لَا تَظْمَأُ بَعْدَهَا أَبَدًا.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا فِي جَنَّةِ الْخُلْدِ "الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَاءً وَمَصِيرًا. لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاءُونَ خَالِدِينَ كَانَ عَلَى رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَسْؤُولًا".

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا صَبَرَتْ عَلَى الْبَلَاءِ فَلَمْ تَجْزَعْ، فَامْنَحْهَا دَرَجَةَ الصَّابِرِينَ الَّذِينَ يُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ فَإِنَّكَ الْقَائِلُ "إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ".

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُصَلِّي لَكَ، فَثَبِّتْهَا عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ يَوْمَ تَزِلُّ الْأَقْدَامُ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ صَائِمَةً لَكَ، فَأَدْخِلْهَا الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ بَابِ الرَّيَّانِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ لِكِتَابِكَ تَالِيَةً وَسَامِعَةً، فَشَفِّعْ فِيهَا الْقُرْآنَ، وَارْحَمْهَا مِنَ النِّيرَانِ، وَاجْعَلْهَا يَا رَحْمَنُ تَرْتَقِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ إِلَى آخِرِ آيَةٍ قَرَأَتْهَا أَوْ سَمِعَتْهَا، وَآخِرِ حَرْفٍ تَلَتْهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْهَا بِكُلِّ حَرْفٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ حَلَاوَةً، وَبِكُلِّ كَلِمَةٍ كَرَامَةً، وَبِكُلِّ آيَةٍ سَعَادَةً، وَبِكُلِّ سُورَةٍ سَلَامَةً، وَبِكُلِّ جُزْءٍ جَزَاءً.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهَا فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مُسْلِمَةً، وَاغْفِرْ لَهَا فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مُؤْمِنَةً، وَأَدْخِلْهَا الْجَنَّةَ فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ بِنَبِيِّكَ مُصَدِّقَةً، وَسَامِحْهَا فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ لِكِتَابِكَ مُرَتِّلَةً.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا، وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا، وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا، وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا.

اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا أَجْرَهَا وَلَا تُضْلِلْنَا بَعْدَهَا.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا أَتَانَا الْيَقِينُ، وَعَرِقَ مِنَّا الْجَبِينُ، وَكَثُرَ الْأَنِينُ وَالْحَنِينُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا يَئِسَ مِنَّا الطَّبِيبُ، وَبَكَى عَلَيْنَا الْحَبِيبُ، وَتَخَلَّى عَنَّا الْقَرِيبُ وَالْغَرِيبُ، وَارْتَفَعَ النَّشِيجُ وَالنَّحِيبُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا اشْتَدَّتِ الْكُرُبَاتُ، وَتَوَالَتِ الْحَسَرَاتُ، وَأَطْبَقَتِ الرَّوْعَاتُ، وَفَاضَتِ الْعَبَرَاتُ، وَتَكَشَّفَتِ الْعَوْرَاتُ، وَتَعَطَّلَتِ الْقُوَى وَالْقُدُرَاتُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا حُمِلْنَا عَلَى الْأَعْنَاقِ، وَبَلَغَتِ التَّرَاقِيَ، وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ، إِلَيْكَ يَا رَبَّنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمَسَاقُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا وُورِينَا التُّرَابَ، وَغُلِّقَتِ الْقُبُورُ وَالْأَبْوَابُ، وَانْفَضَّ الْأَهْلُ وَالْأَحْبَابُ، فَإِذَا الْوَحْشَةُ وَالْوَحْدَةُ وَهَوْلُ الْحِسَابِ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا فَارَقْنَا النَّعِيمَ، وَانْقَطَعَ النَّسِيمُ، وَقِيلَ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا أُقِمْنَا لِلسُّؤَالِ، وَخَانَنَا الْمَقَالُ، وَلَمْ يَنْفَعْ جَاهٌ وَلَا مَالٌ وَلَا عِيَالٌ، وَقَدْ حَالَ الْحَالُ، وَلَيْسَ إِلَّا فَضْلُ الْكَبِيرِ الْمُتَعَالِ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا نُسِيَ اسْمُنَا، وَدَرَسَ رَسْمُنَا، وَأَحَاطَ بِنَا قِسْمُنَا وَوُسْعُنَا.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا إِذَا أُهْمِلْنَا فَلَمْ يَزُرْنَا زَائِرٌ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْنَا ذَاكِرٌ، وَمَا لَنَا مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ، فَلَا أَمَلَ إِلَّا فِي الْقَاهِرِ الْقَادِرِ الْغَافِرِ، يَا مَنْ إِذَا وَعَدَ أَوْفَى، وَإِذَا تَوَعَّدَ عَفَا، وَشَفِّعْ يَا رَبِّ فِينَا حَبِيبَنَا الْمُصْطَفَى، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ صَفَا وَوَفَى، وَبِاللَّهِ اكْتَفَى، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ، يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، يَا بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهَا أَمَتُكَ بِنْتُ أَمَتِكَ مَاتَتْ وَهِيَ تَشْهَدُ لَكَ بِالْوَحْدَانِيَّةِ وَلِرَسُولِكَ بِالشَّهَادَةِ فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفَّارُ.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا أَجْرَهَا، وَلَا تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَهَا، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَهَا، وَاجْمَعْنَا مَعَهَا فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا الصَّبْرَ وَالسُّلْوَانَ وَأَرْضِهِمْ بِقَضَائِكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا، وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ، وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ.

Supplications for a deceased woman

O Allah, replace her home with a better home and her family with a better family. Admit her to Paradise and protect her from punishment of the grave and punishment of the Fire.

O Allah, treat her according to what befits You, not what she deserves.

O Allah, reward her good with goodness, and her wrongdoing with pardon and forgiveness.

O Allah, if she did good, increase her good deeds; if she did wrong, pardon her misdeeds.

O Allah, admit her to Paradise without a scrutinizing reckoning or preceding punishment.

O Allah, comfort her in her solitude, loneliness, and estrangement.

O Allah, settle her in a blessed dwelling; You are the best to grant a dwelling.

O Allah, settle her among the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous—what excellent companions they are.

O Allah, make her grave a garden of Paradise, not a pit of the Fire.

O Allah, expand her grave as far as her sight reaches and furnish it with the furnishings of Paradise.

O Allah, protect her from punishment of the grave and from the earth pressing dry against her sides.

O Allah, fill her grave with pleasure, light, spaciousness, and joy.

O Allah, she is under Your covenant and protection. Protect her from the trial of the grave and punishment of the Fire. You are faithful and true, so forgive her and have mercy on her. You are the Forgiving, the Merciful.

O Allah, she is Your female servant, the daughter of Your female servant, who left this world, its spaciousness, what she loved, and her loved ones within it, for the darkness of the grave and what she will encounter.

O Allah, she testified that there is no deity except You and that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger, and You know her best.

O Allah, we seek nearness to You through You and beseech You by Yourself to have mercy on her, not punish her, and make her steadfast when questioned.

O Allah, she has come to You, the best of hosts, in need of Your mercy, while You have no need to punish her.

O Allah, grant her Your mercy and pleasure. Protect her from the trial and punishment of the grave, and grant her safety from Your punishment by Your mercy until You raise her to Your Paradise, Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, move her from the dwelling of worms and narrow graves to the gardens of eternity.

O Allah, protect her beneath the earth, conceal her faults on the Day of Presentation, and do not disgrace her when they are raised: ‘The day neither wealth nor children benefit, except one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.’

O Allah, place her record in her right hand, ease her reckoning, make her scale heavy with good deeds, keep her feet firm on the bridge, and settle her in the highest gardens beside Your beloved and chosen Prophet, peace and blessings be upon her.

O Allah, secure her from the terror and horror of the Day of Resurrection. Make her soul safe and tranquil, and teach her her plea.

O Allah, make her tranquil within the grave, safe when the witnesses rise, confident in the generosity of Your pleasure, and foremost toward Your highest ranks.

O Allah, place light on her right until You raise her safe and tranquil in light from You.

O Allah, look upon her with pleasure, for whoever receives Your look of pleasure You never punish.

O Allah, settle her in spacious gardens, forgive her, Most Compassionate; have mercy on her, Most Merciful; and pardon what You know, All-Knowing One.

O Allah, pardon her, for You said: ‘He pardons much.’

O Allah, she has come to Your door and settled at Your threshold. Be generous to her with Your pardon, honor, and abundant kindness.

O Allah, Your mercy encompasses everything. Have mercy on her with a mercy that calms her soul and comforts her eyes.

O Allah, gather her with the mindful as honored guests before the Most Compassionate.

O Allah, gather her with the people of the right, and let her greeting be: ‘Peace to you from the people of the right.’

O Allah, give her good news through Your words: ‘Eat and drink pleasantly for what you sent ahead in days gone by.’

O Allah, make her among the happy in Paradise, abiding there as long as the heavens and earth endure.

O Allah, we do not declare her pure before You, but we consider her one who believed and did righteous deeds. Grant her two gardens with spreading branches, in accordance with Your words: ‘For whoever fears standing before her Lord are two gardens.’

O Allah, accept the intercession of our Prophet and Your chosen one for her, gather her beneath her banner, and give her a pleasant drink from the noble hand of the Prophet, after which she will never thirst.

O Allah, place her in the eternal Garden, ‘promised to the mindful as their reward and destination. They will have whatever they wish there, abiding forever—a promise from your Lord to be requested.’

O Allah, she was patient in affliction and did not despair. Grant her the rank of the patient, whose reward is given without measure, for You said: ‘The patient will receive their reward without measure.’

O Allah, she prayed to You; keep her firm on the bridge when feet slip.

O Allah, she fasted for You; admit her to Paradise through the gate of Ar-Rayyan.

O Allah, she recited and listened to Your Book. Let the Quran intercede for her, have mercy on her from the Fire, and let her, Most Compassionate, rise in Paradise to the last verse she recited or heard and the last letter she recited.

O Allah, grant her sweetness for every Quranic letter, honor for every word, happiness for every verse, safety for every surah, and reward for every part.

O Allah, have mercy on her, for she was a Muslim; forgive her, for she was a believer; admit her to Paradise, for she affirmed Your Prophet; and pardon her, for she recited Your Book in measured tones.

O Allah, forgive our living and dead, those present and absent, our young and old, and our men and women.

O Allah, whoever You keep alive among us, keep alive upon Islam; whoever You cause to die among us, cause to die upon faith.

O Allah, do not deprive us of her reward or let us go astray after her.

O Allah, have mercy on us when certainty of death comes, our foreheads sweat, and groans and longing grow intense.

O Allah, have mercy on us when the physician loses hope, loved ones weep over us, relatives and strangers leave us, and sobbing and wailing rise.

O Allah, have mercy on us when distress intensifies, regrets follow one another, fears close in, tears flow, vulnerabilities are exposed, and strength and abilities fail.

O Allah, have mercy on us when carried on shoulders, when the soul reaches the collarbones and it is said: ‘Who can heal?’ When one knows it is parting and leg is joined with leg, to You, our Lord, is the driving that day.

O Allah, have mercy on us when buried in earth, graves and doors closed, family and loved ones dispersed, leaving loneliness, solitude, and the dread of reckoning.

O Allah, have mercy on us when we leave comfort, the breeze ceases, and it is said: ‘What deceived you concerning your Generous Lord?’

O Allah, have mercy on us when raised for questioning, speech fails us, status, wealth, and children are useless, our condition has changed, and nothing remains but the grace of the Great, the Exalted.

O Allah, have mercy on us when our names are forgotten, our traces erased, and our allotted portion surrounds and contains us.

O Allah, have mercy on us when neglected, with no visitor or one to remember us, with no strength or helper and no hope except in the All-Prevailing, the All-Powerful, the Forgiving. You fulfill Your promises and pardon after warning. Our Lord, grant our beloved chosen Prophet intercession for us. Make us among those who are pure, faithful, and content with Allah alone, Most Merciful of the merciful; Ever-Living, Sustainer of all; Originator of the heavens and earth; Possessor of majesty and honor.

O Allah, she is Your female servant, the daughter of Your female servant, who died testifying to Your oneness and to Your Messenger. Forgive her; You are the Oft-Forgiving.

O Allah, do not deprive us of her reward or try us after her. Forgive us and her, and gather us with her in the gardens of bliss, Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, send patience and consolation upon her family and make them content with Your decree.

O Allah, keep us firm with the firm word in worldly life, the Hereafter, and the day the witnesses rise.

O Allah, send peace and blessings upon our master Muhammad, her family, and her companions until the Day of Judgment.

أَدْعِيَةٌ لِلْمَيِّتِ الطِّفْلِ الصَّغِيرِ (ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى)

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ فَرَطًا وَذُخْرًا لِوَالِدَيْهِ، وَشَفِيعًا مُجَابًا، اللَّهُمَّ ثَقِّلْ بِهِ مَوَازِينَهُمَا، وَأَعْظِمْ بِهِ أُجُورَهُمَا، وَأَلْحِقْهُ بِصَالِحِ الْـمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَاجْعَلْهُ فِي كَفَالَةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَقِهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ، وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِأَسْلَافِنَا، وَأَفْرَاطِنَا، وَمَنْ سَبَقَنَا بِالْإِيمَانِ.

মৃত ছোট ছেলে বা মেয়ের জন্য দোয়া

হে আল্লাহ, তাকে তার মা-বাবার জন্য অগ্রবর্তী ও সঞ্চয় এবং কবুলকৃত সুপারিশকারী করে দিন। হে আল্লাহ, তার মাধ্যমে তাদের পাল্লা ভারী করুন এবং তাদের প্রতিদান বৃদ্ধি করুন। তাকে নেক মুমিনদের সঙ্গে মিলিয়ে দিন, ইবরাহিমের তত্ত্বাবধানে রাখুন এবং আপনার রহমতে তাকে জাহান্নামের আজাব থেকে রক্ষা করুন। তাকে তার ঘরের চেয়ে উত্তম ঘর এবং তার পরিবারের চেয়ে উত্তম পরিবার দান করুন। হে আল্লাহ, আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের, আমাদের অগ্রে চলে যাওয়া সন্তানদের এবং যারা ঈমানের সঙ্গে আমাদের আগে চলে গেছেন তাঁদের ক্ষমা করুন।

الدُّعَاءُ لِلْمَيِّتِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجَنَازَةِ

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ ، وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ ، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ ، وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ، وَزَوْجًا خَيْرًا مِنْ زَوْجِهِ ، وَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَقِهِ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابَ النَّارِ.

জানাজার সালাতে মৃত ব্যক্তির জন্য দোয়া

হে আল্লাহ, তাঁকে ক্ষমা করুন, তাঁর প্রতি দয়া করুন, তাঁকে নিরাপত্তা দিন এবং তাঁকে মার্জনা করুন। তাঁর আতিথ্য সম্মানিত করুন, তাঁর প্রবেশস্থল প্রশস্ত করুন, তাঁকে পানি, তুষার ও শিলা দিয়ে ধুয়ে দিন এবং তাঁকে গুনাহ থেকে এমনভাবে পবিত্র করুন যেমন সাদা পোশাক ময়লা থেকে পরিষ্কার করা হয়। তাঁকে তাঁর ঘরের চেয়ে উত্তম ঘর, তাঁর পরিবারের চেয়ে উত্তম পরিবার এবং তাঁর সঙ্গীর চেয়ে উত্তম সঙ্গী দিন। তাঁকে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করান এবং কবরের পরীক্ষা ও আগুনের আজাব থেকে রক্ষা করুন।

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has guaranteed to the one who goes out in His cause, 'and he does not go out for any other purpose except Jihad in My cause and faith in Me, believing in My Messengers, but he is guaranteed that I will admit him to Paradise or I will send him back to his dwelling from which he set out, having acquired whatever he acquired of reward or spoils of war.'"
