A commonly taught Sunni method is illustrated. Details can differ between schools; pray according to your ability. Wudu remains valid until it is broken.

Prepare for prayer

When prayer time has begun, make Wudu if needed, wear clean, modest clothing, find a clean place and face the Qiblah. Fajr has two rakahs, with a final Tashahhud after the second. In congregation the imam recites aloud in both.
