O Allah, have mercy on me through the Quran and make it my leader, light, guidance, and mercy.

O Allah, remind me of what I have forgotten of it, teach me what I do not know of it, grant me its recitation during the hours of the night and the ends of the day, and make it a proof in my favor, Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, set right my religion, which safeguards my affairs; set right my worldly life, in which is my livelihood; and set right my Hereafter, to which is my return. Make life an increase for me in every good, and make death a rest for me from every evil.

O Allah, make the best of my life its end, the best of my deeds their final ones, and the best of my days the day I meet You.

O Allah, I ask You for a pleasant life, a sound death, and a return free from disgrace or exposure.

O Allah, I ask You for the best of requests, the best of supplications, the best of success, the best of knowledge, the best of deeds, the best of rewards, the best of life, and the best of death. Make me steadfast, make my scales heavy, fulfill my faith, raise my rank, accept my prayer, forgive my sins, and grant me the highest places in Paradise.

O Allah, I ask You for deeds that bring Your mercy, firm grounds for Your forgiveness, safety from every sin, a share of every righteous deed, success in attaining Paradise, and deliverance from the Fire.

O Allah, grant us a good outcome in all our affairs and protect us from disgrace in this world and punishment in the Hereafter.

O Allah, grant us such fear of You as will stand between us and disobedience to You; such obedience to You as will lead us to Your Paradise; and such certainty as will make the calamities of this world easier for us. Let us enjoy our hearing, sight, and strength as long as You give us life, and let them remain with us to the end. Direct our retribution against those who wrong us and grant us victory over those hostile to us. Do not let our calamity be in our religion. Do not make this world our greatest concern or the limit of our knowledge, and do not give power over us to those who show us no mercy.

O Allah, leave no sin of ours unforgiven, no anxiety unrelieved, no debt unpaid, and no need of this world or the Hereafter unmet, Most Merciful of the merciful.

Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. May Allah send abundant peace and blessings upon our master and Prophet Muhammad and his family and noble companions.

Hadits
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Any skin tanned, then it has been made pure." This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. This is acted upon according to most of the people of knowledge, they say that when the skin of a dead animal has been tanned then it has been made pure. [Abu 'Eisa said:] Ash-Shafi'i said: "Any dead animals skin that is tanned, then it has been made pure, except for the dog and the pig." Some of the people of knowledge among the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) disliked skins of predators even when tanned, and this is the view of 'Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak, Ahmad and Ishaq, and they were firm about not wearing them and performing Salat in them. Ishaq bin Ibrahim said: "The saying of the Prophet (ﷺ):'Any skin that is tanned, then it has been made pure' only refers to the skins of animals whose meat is eaten." This is how it was explained by An-Nasr bin Shumail.
