دُعَاءُ لُبْسِ الثَّوْبِ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا (الثَّوْبَ) وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ.
Ñaan bu ñuy sol mbubb
Cant ñeel na Yàlla mi ma solal mbubb mii te may ma ko, te amuma ci pexe walla kàttan.
دُعَاءُ لُبْسِ الثَّوْبِ الْجَدِيدِ
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ، أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ
Supplication when putting on a new garment

O Allah, all praise belongs to You. You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its good.
دُعَاءُ الْكَرْبِ
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ، وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
اللَّهُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي لَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا
Supplication in distress

There is no deity except Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing. There is no deity except Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no deity except Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne.

O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye. Set all my affairs right. There is no deity except You.

There is no deity except You. Glory be to You; indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.

Allah, Allah is my Lord; I associate nothing with Him.
دُعَاءُ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي ، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ.
Supplication for anxiety and sorrow

O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your male servant and the son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment upon me is carried out, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that is Yours—by which You named Yourself, revealed in Your Book, taught to any of Your creation, or kept with Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen—to make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the clearing of my sorrow, and the removal of my anxiety.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, helplessness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debt, and being overpowered by others.
دُعَاءُ قَضَاءِ الدَّيْنِ
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Ñaan ngir fay bor
Yàlla, doyloo ma ci li nga may ba ma baña soxla li nga tere, te ci sa yiw def ma ma baña soxla keneen ku dul Yaw.
دُعَاءُ الرِّيحِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا، وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا، وَخَيْرَ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا، وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا وَشَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ.
Ñaanu ngelaw
Yàlla, maa ngi la ñaan yiwu ngelaw gi, yiw li ci nekk ak yiw li nga ko àndal ba nga ko yónnee. Maa ngi la làqu ci bonam, bon li ci nekk ak bon li nga ko àndal ba nga ko yónnee.
دُعَاءُ الرَّعْدِ
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي يُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ
Ñaan bu dënnu amee
Sellaay na Yàlla, mi dënnu di sàbbaal, màggal cant gi Mu yeyoo, te malaaka yi it di ko sàbbaal ci ragalam.
دُعَاءُ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ وَيَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنَّا وَالْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ، أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ لَنَا وَلَكُمُ الْعَافِيَةَ.
Ñaan bu ñuy seeti bàmmeel
Jàmm na nekk ci yéen, yéen waa dëkkaan bi bokk ci gëmkat ak jullit yi. Nun it, bu Yàlla bëggee, dinañu leen topp. Yal na Yàlla yërëm ñi nu jiitu ak ñi nu gannaaw. Maa ngi ñaan Yàlla mu may nu ak yéen jàmm ak wér.
دُعَاءُ نُزُولِ الْمَطَرِ
اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
Ñaan bu taw bi tàmbalee
Yàlla, may nu taw bu am njariñ.
دُعَاءُ رُكُوبِ الدَّابَّةِ أَوْ مَا يَقُومُ مَقَامَهَا ( السَّيَّارَةِ أَوِ الْقِطَارِ أَوِ الطَّائِرَةِ أَوِ السَّفِينَةِ)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.
Ñaan bu ñuy war mala walla dugg ci oto, tereen, awiyoŋ walla gaal
Ci turu Yàlla, cant ñeel na Yàlla. Sellaay na Ki nu lii teg ci sunu loxo, te nun manunu koo def ci sunu doole. Te ci sunu Boroom lanu wara dellu. Cant ñeel na Yàlla. Cant ñeel na Yàlla. Cant ñeel na Yàlla. Yàllaa gën a màgg. Yàllaa gën a màgg. Yàllaa gën a màgg. Sellaay na la, Yàlla. Tooñ naa sama bopp, kon jéggal ma; kenn du jéggal bàkkaar lu dul Yaw.
دُعَاءُ السَّفَرِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى، وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى ، اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ، وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الْأَهْلِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الْمَنْظَرِ وَسُوءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالْأَهْلِ.
وَإِذَا رَجَعَ قَالَهُنَّ وَزَادَ فِيهِنَّ ـ" آيِبُونَ ،تَائِبُونَ، عَابِدُونَ ، لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ"
Ñaanu tukki
Yàlla, nu ngi la ñaan ci sunu tukki bii njub ak ragal Yàlla, ak jëf yi nga nangu. Yàlla, yombalal nu sunu tukki bii te gàttal nu soriwaayam. Yàlla, Yaw yaay sunu àndandoo ci tukki bi, te Yaw yaay wuutu nu ci sunu njaboot. Yàlla, maa ngi la làqu ci coonoy tukki, gis yu indi tiis ak dellu ba fekk lu bon ci sama alal ak sama njaboot.
Bu delloo, na wax loolu te yokk: “Nu ngi dellu, tuub, jaamu te sant sunu Boroom.”
دُعَاءُ الْمُسَافِرِ لِلْمُقِيمِ
أَسْتَوْدِعُكُمُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا تَضِيعُ وَدَائِعُهُ
Ñaanu aji-tukki ji ñeel ñi des
Dénk naa leen Yàlla, mi li ñu ko dénk du sànku.
دُعَاءُ الْمُقِيمِ لِلْمُسَافِرِ
أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِينَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ ، وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ زَوَّدَكَ اللَّهُ التَّقْوَى، وَغَفَرَ ذَنْبَكَ، وَيَسَّرَ لَكَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ مَا كُنْتَ
Ñaanu ku des ñeel aji-tukki ji
Dénk naa sa diine, li ñu la dénk ak mujjug say jëf Yàlla. Yal na la Yàlla dolli ragalam, jéggal la say bàkkaar te yombalal la yiw foo man a nekk.
دُعَاءُ النُّزُولِ فِي مَكَانٍ
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
Ñaan bu ñu daloo fu nekk
Maa ngi sàkku aar ci kàdduy Yàlla yu mat, ci lu bon ci li Mu bind.
الدُّعَاءُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ، وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَاجْبُرْنِي وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي وَارْفَعْنِي
Ñaan ci diggante ñaari sujjóot
Sama Boroom, jéggal ma. Sama Boroom, jéggal ma. Yàlla, jéggal ma, yërëm ma, gindi ma, defar ma, wéral ma, wërsëgal ma te yékkati ma.
دُعَاءُ مَنِ اسْتَصْعَبَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرٌ
اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا
Ñaan bu mbir jafe
Yàlla, amul lu yomb lu dul li nga yombal. Soo bëggee, dinga yombal lu metti.
دُعَاءُ الْخَوْفِ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ
Ñaan bu ñuy ragal bokkaale
Yàlla, maa ngi la di ñaan nga aar ma ci bokkaale la te xam naa ko; maa ngi lay ñaan sa njéggal ci li ma xamul.
مَا يُقَالُ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الْغَفُورُ (100 مَرَّةٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ)
Li ñuy wax ci ndaje
Sama Boroom, jéggal ma te nangu sama tuub; Yaw yaay ku bare a nangu tuub te bare a jéggal. (100 yoon bala mu jóg.)
كَفَّارَةُ الْمَجْلِسِ
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ
Njéggal gannaaw ndaje
Yàlla, tudd naa sa sell te sant la. Seede naa ne amul yàlla ku dul Yaw. Maa ngi lay ñaan sa njéggal te maa ngi tuub jëm ci Yaw.
دُعَاءُ مَنْ رَأَى مُبْتَلًى
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَاهُ بِهِ وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلًا
Ñaanu ku gis ku am nattu
Cant ñeel na Yàlla mi ma musal ci li Mu ko nattalee, te gënal ma ci ñu bari ci mbindéefam yi.
دُعَاءُ الْغَضَبِ
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Ñaan bu mer
Maa ngi sàkku ci Yàlla mu aar ma ci Séytaane su ñu rëbb.
الدُّعَاءُ لِلْمُتَزَوِّجِ
بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ ، وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ ، وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ
Ñaanal ki séy
Yal na la Yàlla barkeel, yal na barke wàcc ci yaw, te na leen ñaar boole ci lu baax.
دُعَاءُ الْمُتَزَوِّجِ لِنَفْسِهِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ ، وَإِذَا اشْتَرَى بَعِيرًا فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِذُرْوَةِ سَنَامِهِ وَلْيَقُلْ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
A newly married person's supplication

O Allah, I ask You for her good and the good nature You created in her, and I seek refuge in You from her evil and the evil nature You created in her. When buying a camel, take hold of the top of its hump and say the same.
الدُّعَاءُ قَبْلَ الْجِمَاعِ
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ـ اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ، وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا
Supplication before marital intimacy

In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep Satan away from us and keep Satan away from what You grant us.
دُعَاءُ الْعُطَاسِ
إِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلْ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، وَلْيَقُلْ لَهُ أَخُوهُ ، أَوْ صَاحِبُهُ : يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ فَإِذَا قَالَ لَهُ : يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ، فَلْيَقُلْ : يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ.
Ñaan bu ñu tisóolee
Su kenn ci yéen tisóolee, na wax: “Cant ñeel na Yàlla.” Na ko mbokkam walla xaritam wax: “Yal na la Yàlla yërëm.” Bu ko waxee loolu, na ko tontu: “Yal na leen Yàlla gindi te jubal seen xaal.”
الدُّعَاءُ عِنْدَ إِفْطَارِ الصَّائِمِ
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ ، وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ ، وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Ñaan bu ñuy dog koor
Mar jeex na, yooni deret tooy nañu, te pey wóor na, bu neexee Yàlla.
الدُّعَاءُ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ
أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ ، وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ ، وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ
Ñaan bu ñuy dog koor ci kër
Yal na ñiy woor dog seen koor ci yéen, te ñu baax lekk seen lekk, te malaaka yi ñaanal leen.
دُعَاءُ رُؤْيَةِ الْهِلَالِ
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ ، وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ ، وَالْإِسْلَامِ ، وَالتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ.
Ñaan bu ñu gisee weer wu bees
Yàllaa gën a màgg. Yàlla, feeñal nu weer wi ci kaaraange ak ngëm, ci jàmm ak Lislaam, te may nu def li nga bëgg te nangu. Sunu Boroom ak sa Boroom mooy Yàlla.
دُعَاءُ مَنْ أُصِيبَ بِمُصِيبَةٍ
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
Ñaan bu musiba dal nit
Yàllaa nu moom te ci Moom lañuy dellu. Yàlla, fey ma ci sama musiba te wuutal ma ko lu ko gën.
الدُّعَاءُ لِلْمَرِيضِ فِي عِيَادَتِهِ
لَا بَأْسَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَعُودُ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَحْضُرْ أَجَلُهُ فَيَقُولُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ : أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ إِلَّا عُوفِيَ.
Ñaanal ku wopp bu ñu koy seeti
Amul dara; sellal la, bu Yàlla bëggee. Jullit bu seetee ku wopp te waxtu deeweem jotul, te mu wax juróom-ñaari yoon: “Maa ngi ñaan Yàlla mu màgg mi, Boroom Aras bu màgg bi, mu wéral la,” dees na ko wéral.
دُعَاءُ الْمَرِيضِ الَّذِي يَئِسَ مِنْ حَيَاتِهِ
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالرَّفِيقِ الْأَعْلَى
Ñaanu ku wopp te yaakaaratul dund
Yàlla, jéggal ma, yërëm ma te boole ma ak Ar-Rafiiq al-A‘laa.
مَا يُعَوَّذُ بِهِ الْأَوْلَادُ
أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
Seeking protection for children

I seek protection for you both in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and harmful creature and from every harmful envious eye.
دُعَاءُ لِقَاءِ الْعَدُوِّ وَذِي السُّلْطَانِ
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ عَضُدِي ، وَأَنْتَ نَصِيرِي ، بِكَ أَجُولُ وَبِكَ أَصُولُ وَبِكَ أُقَاتِلُ
Supplication when meeting an enemy or a person in authority

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

O Allah, we place You before them and seek refuge in You from their evil.

O Allah, You are my support and my helper. Through You I move, through You I prevail, and through You I fight.

قَالَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا الِاسْتِخَارَةَ فِي الْأُمُورِ كُلِّهَا كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا السُّورَةَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ، يَقُولُ : ( إِذَا هَمَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِالْأَمْرِ فَلْيَرْكَعْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ غَيْرِ الْفَرِيضَةِ ثُمَّ لْيَقُلْ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ ـ وَيُسَمِّي حَاجَتَهُ ـ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي ـ أَوْ قَالَ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ ـ فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي ـ أَوْ قَالَ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ ـ فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ وَاقْدُرْ لِي الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ).
Supplication for the prayer of seeking guidance (Istikharah)

Jabir ibn ‘Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with them both, said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to teach us to seek Allah's guidance in every matter just as he taught us a surah of the Quran. He would say: ‘When one of you intends a matter, let him pray two units other than the obligatory prayer, then say: O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge and seek ability through Your power, and I ask You of Your immense bounty. You have power and I do not; You know and I do not; You are the Knower of all unseen things. O Allah, if You know that this matter’—then name the matter—‘is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs’—or he said, ‘in the near and distant future’—‘then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. If You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs’—or he said, ‘in the near and distant future’—‘then turn it away from me and turn me away from it. Decree goodness for me wherever it may be, then make me content with it.’
دُعَاءُ سُجُودِ التِّلَاوَةِ
سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ ،وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ بِحَوْلِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ ( فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ )
Supplication for the prostration of recitation

My face prostrates to the One who created it and opened its hearing and sight by His power and strength. Blessed is Allah, the best of creators.
دُعَاءُ الِاسْتِفْتَاحِ
اللَّهُمَّ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْغَرْبِ ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ بِالثَّلْجِ وَالْمَاءِ وَالْبَرَدِ.
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ.
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا(ثَلَاثًا) ـ "أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ مِنْ نَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ وَهَمْزِهِ ".
Opening supplications for prayer

O Allah, distance me from my sins as You have distanced the east from the west. O Allah, purify me of my sins as a white garment is purified of dirt. O Allah, wash away my sins with snow, water, and hail.

Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. Blessed is Your name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no deity other than You.

Allah is truly the Greatest; Allah is truly the Greatest; Allah is truly the Greatest. Abundant praise belongs to Allah; abundant praise belongs to Allah; abundant praise belongs to Allah. Glory be to Allah morning and evening (three times). ‘I seek refuge in Allah from Satan—from his arrogance, his incantations, and his madness.’
دُعَاءُ دُخُولِ السُّوقِ
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَلْفَ أَلْفِ حَسَنَةٍ وَمَحَا عَنْهُ أَلْفَ أَلْفِ سَيِّئَةٍ وَرَفَعَ لَهُ أَلْفَ أَلْفِ دَرَجَةٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: وَبَنَى لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ).
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ السُّوقِ، وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُصِيبَ بِهَا يَمِينًا فَاجِرَةً، أَوْ صَفْقَةً خَاسِرَةً.
Supplication when entering the marketplace

There is no deity except Allah alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Ever-Living and never dies. All good is in His hand, and He has power over all things. (Allah records one million good deeds for him, erases one million sins, and raises him one million degrees. In another narration: He builds a house for him in Paradise.)

In the name of Allah. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this marketplace and the good within it. I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil within it. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from making a sinful oath here or a losing bargain.
عِنْدَ فِعْلِ الذَّنْبِ أَوِ ارْتِكَابِ الْمَعْصِيَةِ
كَمَا أَخْبَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ((مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يُذْنِبُ ذَنْبًا فَيَتَوَضَّأُ فَيُحْسِنُ الطُّهُورَ،ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ لِذَلِكَ الذَّنْبِ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُ )).
Bu ñu defee bàkkaar walla moy Yàlla
Ni nu ko Yónnentu Yàlla xamalee, yal na ko Yàlla dolli xéewal ak mucc: jaam bu bàkkaaree te jàpp bu baax, ba noppi taxaw julli ñaari rakka, te ñaan Yàlla mu jéggal ko bàkkaar boobu, dinañu ko jéggal.
الدُّعَاءُ عِنْدَ سَمَاعِ أَصْوَاتِ الْحَيَوَانَاتِ
الدُّعَاءُ عِنْدَ صِيَاحِ الدِّيكِ : (( اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ )). ((إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ صِيَاحَ الدِّيكِ[مِنَ اللَّيْلِ]،فَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ فَإِنَّهَا رَأَتْ مَلَكًا وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نَهِيقَ الْحِمَارِ،فَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِنَّهَا رَأَتْ شَيْطَانًا)). مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
الدُّعَاءُ عِنْدَ صِيَاحِ الدِّيكِ وَنَهِيقِ الْحِمَارِ وَنُبَاحِ الْكِلَابِ: (( أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ )).
((إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نُبَاحَ الْكِلَابِ وَنَهِيقَ الْحَمِيرِ بِاللَّيْلِ فَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ فَإِنَّهُنَّ يَرَيْنَ مَا لَا تَرَوْنَ)). صَحِيحٌ(صَحِيحُ سُنَنِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ3/961)
Supplications upon hearing animal sounds

Upon hearing a rooster crow: ‘O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty.’ ‘When you hear a rooster crow [at night], ask Allah of His bounty, for it has seen an angel. When you hear a donkey bray, seek refuge in Allah from Satan, for it has seen a devil.’ Agreed upon by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Supplication at the crowing of a rooster, the braying of a donkey, and the barking of dogs: ‘I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed.’

‘When you hear dogs barking and donkeys braying at night, seek refuge in Allah, for they see what you do not see.’ Authentic (Sahih Sunan Abi Dawud 3/961).
سَيِّدُ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.
عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ( سَيِّدُ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ يَقُولَ الْعَبْدُ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ) مَنْ قَالَهَا فِي النَّهَارِ مُوقِنًا بِهَا فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهُوَ مُوقِنٌ بِهَا فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ . أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.
Ñaanu jéggalu ji gën
Yàlla, Yaw yaay sama Boroom, amul ku yelloo jaamu ku dul Yaw. Sàkk nga ma, te man sa jaam laa. Maa ngi ci sa kóllëre ak sa dige ni ma mën. Maa ngi la làqu ci bon li ma def. Nangu naa sa yiw ci man te nangu naa sama bàkkaar; kon jéggal ma, ndax kenn du jéggal bàkkaar lu dul Yaw.
Shaddaad ibn Aws, yal na ko Yàlla gërëm, nettali na ne Yónnent bi, yal na ko Yàlla dolli xéewal ak mucc, ne: “Ñaanu jéggalu ji gën mooy jaam bi wax: Yàlla, Yaw yaay sama Boroom, amul ku yelloo jaamu ku dul Yaw. Sàkk nga ma, te man sa jaam laa. Maa ngi ci sa kóllëre ak sa dige ni ma mën. Maa ngi la làqu ci bon li ma def. Nangu naa sa yiw ci man te nangu naa sama bàkkaar; kon jéggal ma, ndax kenn du jéggal bàkkaar lu dul Yaw. Ku ko wax bëccëg bi te gëm ko bu wér, te dee bés boobu bala ngoon jot, dina bokk ci waa Àjjana. Ku ko wax guddi te gëm ko bu wér, te dee bala suba jot, dina bokk ci waa Àjjana.” Al-Bukhari a ko nettali.
الدُّعَاءُ إِذَا أَحْسَسْتَ بِوَجَعٍ فِي جَسَدِكَ
ضَعْ يَدَكَ عَلَى الَّذِي تَأَلَّمَ مِنْ جَسَدِكَ وَقُلْ: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ،ثَلَاثًا ،وَقُلْ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ.
Ñaan bu la sa yaram metti
Teg sa loxo ci fu la metti ci sa yaram, te nga wax ñetti yoon: “Ci turu Yàlla.” Ba noppi, wax juróom-ñaari yoon: “Maa ngi làqu ci Yàlla ak kàttanam, ci bon li ma di yég ak li ma ragal.”
مَا يَقُولُ وَيَفْعَلُ مَنْ أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا
مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يُذْنِبُ ذَنْبًا فَيُحْسِنُ الطُّهُورَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُ
Li kuy bàkkaar di wax ak def
Jaam bu bàkkaaree, daldi set bu baax, ba noppi taxaw julli ñaari rakka te ñaan Yàlla mu jéggal ko, dinañu ko jéggal.

Hadith
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “A man killed (another) during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and was referred to the Prophet (ﷺ). He handed him over to the victim's next of kin, but the killer said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), by Allah I did not mean to kill him.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to the next of kin, 'If he is telling the truth and you kill him, you will go to Hell.' So he let him go. He had been tied with a rope, and he went out dragging his rope, so he became known as Dhan-Nis'ah (the one with the rope).
