IslamBook

Privacy Policy

This notice explains how the new IslamBook website handles information when you browse or contact us.

How Google processes personal information

Information you send us

The Contact form collects your selected product, request type, message, and interface language. Your name, email address, and screenshots are optional. We use these details to handle support requests; an email address lets us reply. Screenshots may include personal information, so check them before uploading and do not send passwords, payment information, or other sensitive details.

Email and retention

When enabled, the form sends your message to the configured IslamBook webmaster mailbox through the website server. Messages may remain in that mailbox and its backups. We aim to keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request and related administration. You can ask us about access, correction, or deletion through the Contact page.

Cookies and form security

The website uses session cookies to protect forms, remember short-lived form state, and verify CAPTCHA challenges. CAPTCHA images are generated on our server; they do not require a third-party CAPTCHA service.

Sebha progress on your device

Sebha saves counts, sequence progress, personal Tasabih, and preferences in your browser storage. Sebha does not upload these details to our server or sync them between devices. Clearing site data removes this saved progress and personal text.

Technical information

Web server logs may record your IP address, requested URLs, timestamps, and browser information for operation and troubleshooting. Form requests are rate-limited to reduce spam and abuse.

Current advertising status

Advertising and analytics scripts are not currently enabled in this new version. Interface assets are served locally. The following advertising disclosures explain how Google advertising would operate if introduced; they do not mean advertising cookies are currently active.

Google advertising cookies

When Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use advertising cookies to show ads based on earlier visits to this website or other websites. Those cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads.

Advertising choices and other vendors

You can opt out of personalized Google advertising through Ads Settings. Participating vendors also provide choices through AboutAds. Before enabling other advertising vendors, we will identify them and link to their privacy and opt-out information.

Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If Google advertising is introduced, we will obtain consent where required for cookies or local storage and for collecting, sharing, and using personal data to personalize ads. The consent notice will identify the relevant parties, explain their data use, and provide a way to change or withdraw consent. These controls must be in place before the relevant processing begins.

Browser controls and external links

Your browser lets you clear or block cookies and other site data; doing so may reset sessions or prevent forms from working. Advertising preference settings do not remove all cookies or necessarily stop contextual ads. External websites have their own privacy policies.

Children and policy updates

If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review it. We update this notice when our features or data practices change. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to raise a concern with a data protection authority.

Questions about privacy

Use the Contact page to ask how your information is handled. Include enough detail for us to understand your request, without sending unnecessary personal information.
